I saw this pretty little butterfly the other day. I was on my way to work when a fluttering of blue caught my eye. Because I am always a curious cat and easily given to distraction, I rummaged the insides of my
very orderly bag madly for my camera to get myself a magnificent shot (which did not happen, as you can obviously see from the photo above). I had to tiptoe after the little thing (it was pretty elusive, as all butterflies probably are) and as expected, I couldn't get anywhere near it. I chased the butterfly like a doofus for about 10 minutes, taking photos of wet rock, puddles, and random pieces of garbage along the way. I gave up after realizing that the butterfly wasn't going to cooperate with this human and that I was already running late for work.
I remember thinking as I walked away,
all I wanted was a good shot.
well, it musta been a real pretty butterfly. actually, you can kinda tell from the pic that it was. :)
i really ought to keep a camera on me too. something small, i imagine. let me know if you have any suggestions? thanks sistah.
rom sis, my camera is a real handy, just point and shoot Sony Cybershot T20 =) i love it but i seriously have to spend more time outdoors so i can take more photos (that are not about me LOLs)
but i'd really really love to have one of those serious photography cameras one day. photography is love. if only i had the time to dabble on it more, and the moolah. =(
niki, why not try getting a lomo camera? hehehe. i got mine recently, it's a bit bigger then most digicams now but the pics are beautiful. it's mostly point&shoot so it isn't that hard to use. :)
and thanks for dropping by my site! :)
tish, I'd love a lomo camera! Just how much are they and where can I get them? I hope they won't cost me an arm and a leg. and my kidneys. lols.
Here's how to shoot a butterfly:
1) Slap the butterfly with your hand. That should knock it unconscious without killing it (hopefully).
2) Take a picture.
3) Say yay!
whatta genius, this JC is! LOLOLs.
..or you could've just thrown a huge rock over it.
...umm...i was going to take a picture of a butterfly remember? not a rock with a dead insect underneath? you and JC should be together =P
