1. A print of this gorgeous Audrey Kawasaki painting to hang in my room.
Her paintings make me wish I never "outgrew" my love for painting and sketching. I am so in love with her work! And if you grant me this wish you are going to have my love forever. FOREVER!!
2. An iPod Classic. 160GB for the soundtrack of my life? YES PLEASE.
3. The tattoo of my dreams. Not revealing the design here, but hopefully I get this done next weekend yay!
4. These booties to walk all over you.

In black, preferably. Of course I'm also dreaming of these beauties but I'm not looking forward to limping home each end of the day. Heh.
5. A coffee maker plz.
6. Round trip tickets to Japan for next year! The idea of getting lost in Tokyo or Kyoto excites me like making babies with Johnny Depp. Please sana matuloy na (I'm looking at you Mira and Ria!)
7. These lovely things for my bedroom.
8. Moar lace in my undies. Yes.
9. A vintage portable turntable (That distinct crackling sound before the record begins to play? Love) or a vintage typewriter. Yes, the one that makes a lot of noise. Nothing like typing noisily at night and keeping your neighbors awake to make one's being a (struggling) writer legit.
The black and white one would look absolutely perfect in my room. <3
10. A complete set of all of Fiona Apple's albums. Because that woman is a god.
11. A polaroid camera!
12. And finally, a cat who will curl up to me, ignore me, make disapproving looks at me, and most of all relay cosmic wisdom through his feline ways to me when I'm home.
So there. My Christmas wish list. But you guys know I'll be happy with a book, a donut, or a bottle of beer. And oh yeah, a compass. I'm doing feng shui with my room. Stop laughing.
On a more socially relevant note, I also wish for Erap to go back to making movies. And stay there.

So I've moved indefinitely, to a friend's house in Antipolo (shout out to Cat!).
Yes, it is far compared to my former apartment which was just a stone's throw away from my office, but what the hell, at least I'll have some peace of mind. Or at least a more comfortable bed. And a bigger room. And a fridge where I can store and raid, at any given time, a slice of yummeh caramel cake. And hotdogs. And last night's leftover dinner. And cold err--drinks.
I've yet to get used to waking up EARLIER than usual, and the traffic on the way to the office is challenging what I learned in anger management class. But that's okay. My primary complaint as of the moment is having to sit next to people who sweat a lot in the FX. I'm not exactly a fan of receiving bodily fluids from total strangers. Yes, I will be the unsmiling person sitting at the edge of my seat for an hour if that will save me from feeling your sweat seeping through my clothes, thanks much.
Well. That's it for now. Gotta catch a bus to the hometown this girl's going to be a bridesmaid this weekend!

I'm excited, and hopeful -- for America, and the world.
I wonder when will we ever get that kind of hope here in the Philippines? When was the last time we were really, really hopeful about our country, and us, as a people?
Come to think of it, when was the last time we were inspired?
I'm kinda jealous of her.Aside from being pretty (and not about to turn 30 anytime soon), she has a President she can believe in.
(Reuters image, taken from yahoo! news)
But today, I am hopeful. And happy that there is a man who can inspire change.
I just hope that we Filipinos are not just watching -- but more importantly, are learning from this historic event too.
When will our new day come?
President Barack Obama's speech here.

Okay. The real reason why emo niki is no more is that well, I'm over certain things and I just decided to quit worrying about the wrong things. Shit happens, we can wallow in it for a while and after that -- NEXT!!
Of course, there's always the fact that I could be bipolar.
And then there's what we call party therapy. You have to admit it, there something about laser lights, booze, good friends, and lastly T.I. or some hiphop thug blaring in your ears and coaxing your body to move that makes things a little brighter. Not world peace brighter, but brighter still.
So yes to more parties plz.
2. My freaking stylus. In the midst of the afterparties I lost my phone's stylus. It's Bailey's fault. He made me do it. I just woke up (thankfully not in a strange bed), felt the bed for my phone, felt the phone for my stylus and found that it was gone. Good thing I had a spare. So yep, let the good times roll, baby (mayabang haha).
3. That normal feeling under my foot. You know? That thing you feel that assures you you still have your feet? I lost that after wearing 5-inch heels for a good nine hours. That's what you get trying to prettify for a night that would have you ending up drunk in some sofa somewhere.
4. And finally, my plans to purchase a laptop. Because YAY! I won an Acer Aspire One notebook during our office party -- the only major thing I've ever won in a raffle in my whole years of existence on this planet! Because ever since raffle tickets were invented I never won anything yet, not even some measly candy, shampoo, canned goods or anything. I never win these things but now yay, a little blue laptop! (Dear universe, are you trying to make up for making fun of me lately?)
So yup, life's a bitch and so are we. (Walang sense, syempre. lolz)

It's Wednesday, and I am thankful for old friends who keep my feet on the ground, and new friends who I can count the stars -- or in this case, count my blessings with.
I am thankful for Abbondanza Pizzeria Ristorante (naks parang artista lang? haha!) where we ate yesterday for the yummy yummy pizza (and ice cream!) which totally erased any thought of diet or fear of gluttony (not that I'm a religious person anyway haha) from my mind. I'll definitely go back there to stuff my face again yes, yes, yes!
I am thankful for people who know how to listen, and listen well. =)
Also, YAY FOR BARACK OBAMA!!!

when I was a kid I believed even inanimate objects had feelings, that's why I almost wanted to take these cuties home, hehe
My first film was a 16-shot Fuji Superia 100 (which cost P250 a roll *cries*), and out of those 16 shots I failed several times, including shooting with the camera lens still covered! I know, I know, what a stupid, yes. Well you know what they say about first times, lol.
But nevertheless I'm quite happy with the shots I took (and tried to take), I just need more practice, and yes, more money, hahaha!
Can you guys recommend anyone (or place in Pasig) who sells cheaper films for a Holga 120CFN (which I named Boris, by the way, haha.) I'll really appreciate it, thanks thanks!

Finally, I got myself my bangs! I wasn't really planning to get more abuse (read: relax, reborn, straightening etc. etc.) for my already damaged hair (not to mention that I'm not really a fan of straight, everything in place hair or die but that's another story) but I figure, there's no way around it -- I wanted bangs, and unless I was going for the loony with the kinky bangs on the forehead look, I had to "abuse" my poor hair.
So, this weekend off I went to Azta Urban Salon (the branch in Metrowalk) to make my Girl With Bangs ambition come true. I almost expected my newfound fave (my daw o, feeling, haha) hairstylist, Nelson to talk me out of it (because all the others did) but, surprise surprise! He got down to business and gave me my new look, without the hurt or harm to my hair.
So now I'm a happy, banged up girl, lol. ^___^

Today is my sister's birthday. Yes, we are referring to She Who Hasn't Spoken To Me In Eight Months.
Well, that is, until today.
I sent her a birthday message via SMS and finally, She Who Hasn't Spoken To Me In Eight Months replied, with a "thank you very much!", and a smiley.
Not really a grand reconciliation for eight months of not talking to each other, but nevertheless, it made my day. =)
Bati na tayo okay? I know we can both be a bitch but it's more fun if we bitch together! Admit it, the power of two rite? Riiiigght! Besides, I miss having somebody I can shop for shoes and fail with, wander aimlessly in malls without complaining with, walk into bookstores with glee with, discuss and hate politics with, rant about life and love with, make that leap with, gossip with, eat like a pig with, share stuff with, have intelligent conversations with (god, not too much of this lately), quarrel about trivial things with, and a million other things to do that only a sister can, or will do with.
Happy birthday, Yen.

Finally, a Holga for me!
I know, I know, I've been away for a while (but what's two weeks of missing my nonsense ramblings anyway? lol) -- I've been busy, yes, yes.
The New Toy is a Holga 120CFN, and it's waiting for me to start shooting. Heehee.
But first, where to easily get films? In Pasig area. Because I'm a lazy. ^__^V

So I went to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte for some fun time with my friends. And what a fun time it was!
The farthest I've ever been to The North is Baguio (and that was uhm, four years ago? yea yea, whatta loser), and now I can proudly say that I've been to the tip of the Philippines (yay!) -- if you don't count Batanes of course, which we plan to visit too this year, hehe.
The travel to Pagudpud took almost ten hours (by bus), which was the same as going back to my province. And considering I haven't gone home in almost five months (I know mom) -- surviving the trip in a good mood was already an accomplishment.
But what's a ten hour trip if you're with friends right?
What was our itinerary? The beach (at Arinaya Beach Resort where we stayed), the beach with the amazing, stiff neck-inducing, huge, huge windmills (Bangui Bay), the beach (Blue Lagoon where we beach-hopped), near the beach (Agua Grande), and the bridge overlooking the beach,no, the South China Sea (Patapat Bridge/Viaduct).
Now I haven't set foot in a beach for a year so those who care about me will understand if they will suddenly have difficulty seeing me in the dark the next time they invite me out to the movies (by the way, I want to watch Across The Universe).
Pictures, yes?
More photos here, here, here, and here.
Thanks to Myrtle (and her family and friends) for being a great host(ess?).
Next stop: La Union? (We're looking atchu, vince)

...but I sure am glad I changed my mind -- last night's office party was the best ever! And what did I come as? Take a wild guess, hahaha! =P
*UPDATED*
And let me just say that, I'm so proud of my team *sentimental*
Clockwise from top: Jinky (Arwen), Jeremy (Prince Harming? Kidding haha),Juliet (her fave DOTA character), Franz (Princess Jasmine)
Nothing makes "work" less work than having great people around you. Thank you guys (for putting up with my nasty ways, haha)!
Merry Christmas, everyone!
